Responsibilities:
The Contract Administrator will support the administration and contract lifecycle for Echostar's Video Services line of business. As a Contract Administrator, you'll be responsible for proactively managing the renewal lifecycle of our existing contracts and for making sure we are in compliance with our agreements. You will develop best practices on contract management systems. You are organized and will help keep Video Services' contract management a smooth, streamlined and efficient process. You are a self-starter with the ability perform tasks independently, with a willingness to take initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update the contract management system with accurate contract information, including key dates, terms, and conditions
* Maintaining correspondence and documentation related to contracts
* Manage and handle NDA process
* Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees
* Ensuring teams have a central repository of processes, files, and documents
* Generating reports on contract status, upcoming renewals, expirations and other key metrics
* Proactively identify contracts approaching their renewal date and initiate the renewal process well in advance, as well as termination or extension of contracts
* Problem-solving contract and non-contract related issues
* Disseminating information and updates in a timely and comprehensive manner across the organization and to all key stakeholders, including executive leadership
* Reviewing contracts, verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines
* Resource for internal stakeholders with specific questions and request regarding current contract terms and compliance
* Various special projects to support your team and maintain business efficiencies
* Management of Vendor payment processes
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field required
* 5+ years of contract administration or paralegal experience
* Experience with contract management tools, ideally ContractPodAI
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven ability to effectively negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong organizational and project management skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
* Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners
* Superior reading, writing and language skills
* Proficiency in Google Suite
* Ability to work productively independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle
