Overview:
***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***
Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the Rought Terrain Container Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, stacking, and retrieval of shipping containers within the AOR. The operator utilizes heavy-duty reach stacker machinery to load/unload containers from trailers, ensuring precise placement in designated storage bays. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and the maintenance of heavy equipment. Performs operator maintenance on assigned equipment, to include oil samples. Performs customer support functions. Must be able to support automated and non-automated customer units. Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Responsibilities:

* Operates reach stacker to lift, transport, and stack 20ft and 40ft containers in high-density storage areas.
* Performs loading and unloading containers onto prime movers/trailers for transport
* Assists section as required when not engaged in primary responsibilities.
* Performs operator maintenance on assigned equipment, to include oil samples.
* Performs customer support functions (those processes used to support the total requirement of customers to gain logistics support in both combat and peacetime situations).
* Must be able to support automated and non-automated customer units.
* Coordinates with planners and checkers to ensure accurate inventory and container placement.
* Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
* High school diploma or equivalent. Must provide a copy of the diploma.
* Must possess a valid LTO Professional Driver's License with the appropriate restriction code for heavy machinery (alphanumeric code CE).
* Must hold a valid TESDA National Certificate (NC II) in Heavy Equipment Operation (Container Stacker).
* Must be a Filipino Citizen
* Experience:
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in heavy equipment operation, with at least one (1) year specifically on reach stackers or heavy container handlers.
* Skills:
* Must be able to read, write and speak fluently
* Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.
* Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
* Physical Requirements:
* Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently. Requires high body agility for climbing into elevated cabs and frequent reaching/grasping.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
