				Overview:

The Consumer Sales Manager (CSM) collaborates with the Vice President of Consumer Sales (VPCS) to develop consumer awareness plans that promote key clinical programs and business solutions within the communities we actively serve.  The CSM is responsible for achieving growth expectations by driving consumer awareness and new patient direct access at the market level.  In this role, the CSMs will leverage tools, resources, and knowledge to implement effective consumer-focused strategies that drive same store new patient growth. 

This position is responsible for growing the Select Medical outpatient business across assigned accounts including the territories of Central and Western Pennsylvania, Iowa, Illinois, and Central and Southern Ohio.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborates with VPCS, colleagues, and regional sales leaders to proactively identify new opportunities to reach current and prospective consumers of outpatient rehabilitation services
* Set market-level KPIs using success measurements such as  online reviews, patient engagement-to-conversion rates across digital platforms including Strive, social media and websites as well as community events
* Apply CRM, Integrity Selling principles, and other standard practices daily to drive efficient communication across the sales organization
* Curate and generate content to drive consumer awareness and  value of outpatient rehabilitation services available in  local markets such as  new clinics, therapist spotlights, clinical programs and community events 
* Leverage brand, market, and outcomes data to influence consumers and drive new patient direct access
* Develop regional field marketing plans to engage consumers across digital platforms
* Curate and generate content for a variety of marketing needs such as infographics, referral source and in-clinic collateral, community partnerships, email campaigns, Strive messages and social media
* Partner with outpatient division communications and branding team on consumer-facing content ideation, strategy and message creation; follow established Communications & Branding Department processes and policies regarding editorial review, creative services, studio services and digital communications services 
* Develop and implement a real-time systematic field-level process to project-manage sales and marketing requests 
* Expand current new patient volume and consumer awareness of OP services throughout targeted markets and appropriate joint venture partnerships using both traditional and digital mediums
* Performs other duties or special projects as assigned
* Up to 15% travel required

Qualifications:

* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
* Knowledge of SEO/SMO best practices
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, make well-informed decisions, and take decisive action
* Solid understanding of Select Medical's consumer segments and direct access opportunities
* Customer-centric, insightful, and capable of transitioning needs of the field to action 
* Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues across the organization
* Analytical, compassionate, and empathetic with the ability to create engaging messages
* Thrives in an environment of change; adapts quickly to shifting marketplace condition
* Proficient in Sales CRM and Microsoft Office technologies (ex. MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Required Credentials:

* Minimum of 2 years health care business development or marketing experience;  B2C social media skillset a plus
* B.S. /B.A. in business administration, marketing or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience 
* In lieu of an undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college is equal to one year of directly related work experience and vice versa
* Valid driver's license
