Construction Material Laboratory Technician

				Overview:

Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a full-time technician to work in our Construction Laboratories as a laboratory technician testing soil/rock (geotechnical), concrete, asphalt, aggregate and other construction materials to ASTM and AASHTO standards.

Responsibilities:

* Communicate effectively and efficiently with contractors, clients and team members.
* Work Environment may require regular exposure to bending, twisting, moderate to loud noise conditions and lifting weights of up to 75 lbs.
* Some weekend and overtime work may be required.

Qualifications:

* Driver's license required, training and certification will be provided.
* NJSAT, ACI, NICET certifications are preferred, but not required.
* Work hours will be 8 hours between 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM most business days.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
