What you'll be challenged to do:
We are seeking enthusiastic 3rd and 4th year canadian students to join our team as co-op students. The Co-op student will gain hands-on experience in the mass transit rail industry, working on real-world projects that make a difference in our community. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where you can develop your skills and contribute to the success of our company.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of rail projects.
* Conduct research and analysis to support project development.
* Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members.
* Participate in site visits and inspections.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
What you'll bring to our firm:
* Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year of a relevant program (e.g., Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical).
* Demonstrated interest in the construction industry.
* Strong academic performance.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Basic knowledge of CAD software is an asset.
* Enthusiasm for the mass transit rail industry and a willingness to learn.
