Responsibilities include: * Inspect Transportation Construction Projects: Ensure all work and materials meet project plans, proposals, and specifications * Perform Key Measurements & Calculations: Verify weights, volumes, and measurements to ensure accuracy * Prepare "As-Built" Documentation: Plot and run cross sections, and document project progress * Conduct Materials Testing: Ensure materials meet quality standards throughout the project lifecycle * Daily Documentation: Record all inspection activities and findings in detailed reports * Work Outdoors: Enjoy the variety of working in different weather conditions and environments * Physical Responsibilities: Be prepared for heavy lifting and manual tasks as part of the inspection process * Travel Across the State: Visit construction sites across the state, ensuring every project is up to code * Independent Work: Take ownership of your tasks and work with minimal supervision * Flexible Hours & Travel: Expect extended hours and occasional overnight stays as part of the role A valid driver's license is required.
