				Overview:

Job Title: Configuration Manager (TESA)
Location: Ramstein Air Base, Germany

Responsibilities:

The Configuration Manager will provide Configuration Management (CM) and Change Management services to units to include, maintaining accurate account of configuration items (CIs) and changes to the CI during the lifecycle of IT assets. 

* Coordinate and facilitate maintenance activities and warranty repair services. 

* Manage inventory of equipment spares to ensure availability and readiness. 

* Oversee inbound and outbound packaging and shipping operations. 

* Track maintenance actions and provide timely status updates. 

* Maintain accurate records of equipment assets, including warranty status. 

* Monitor and manage equipment repair turnaround times in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 

* Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by the SMC for all reporting requirements. 

* Ensure configuration databases are accurately maintained to reflect current system baselines; perform regular audits to verify data integrity and control effectiveness. 

* Serve as the liaison with customers to verify requirements are met and maintain integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). 

* Implement approved updates to the CMDB, including adjustments to attributes and system relationships. 

* Develop and execute a schedule for independent audits of the CMDB, ensuring alignment with the actual IT infrastructure. 

* Provide executive-level technical support to the Configuration Advisory Board (CAB), including meeting coordination, agenda development, attendee notifications, and facilitation assistance. 

* Generate and present reports, statistics, and metrics reflecting CAB actions and decisions. 

* Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and SOPs to govern the Request for Change (RFC) and Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) processes. 

* Carry out day-to-day execution of change management procedures. 

* Provide support in maintaining version control for baseline hardware and software configurations. 

* Contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of both Change Management and Configuration Management processes. 

* Prepare and deliver Change Management Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports. 

Qualifications:

* Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable). 

* Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required. 

* Must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in preparing and editing Department of Defense (DoD) technical documentation related to supply, procurement, provisioning, design, and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis for complex mechanical and electronic systems and equipment. 

* Required certification:  HAZMAT 

* Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.
