Responsibilities:
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Computer and Information Systems Analyst, Journeyman to support the Systems Engineering Department (SED) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.
The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:
* Collects information to analyze and evaluate.
* Performs logical and physical system design and reviews and prepares system documents and specifications.
* Conducts technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with system.
* Prepares reports, studies and documentation.
* Delivers presentations and participates in meetings.
* Works on special problem areas; administers complex areas of the network, security analysis, and planning.
* Works in mid-sized, client-server systems, in systems analysis, software design, software development, and database administration.
* Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques.
* Shall work independently and as part of a team in researching data and developing analytical techniques and methodologies.
* Must know system acquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test, and manufacture a major system is required.
* Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.

* Must have a bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field from an accredited college or university.
* Must have a minimum of three (3) or more years of related work experience.
* Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
* Must be a US Citizen
