				Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Investigations Compliance Officer to enhance our investigations process to better serve our patients and our Ministry. This role is a critical component of our Compliance Program and assists in maintaining a culture of compliance and adhering to compliance policies and regulations. 

The ideal candidate will possess healthcare compliance, legal or regulatory experience in conducting investigations of reports of suspected non-compliance.  This candidate will have experience with the following: 

* Conducting an investigation by identifying appropriate sources, interviewing, statement taking, thoroughly and promptly documenting, and collecting evidence for analysis. 

* Coordinating and partnering with other compliance officers, Human Resources, IT, Legal and other relevant individuals/departments to receive input and foster a collaborative investigation approach. 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Compliance Officer Defined Focus (Investigations) provides highly specialized expertise within their assigned area of focus and works collaboratively with leadership, staff and other compliance officers and auditors to proactively consult and educate to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations within their area of focus. When gaps are identified, the officer partners with the responsible parties to create corrective actions plans that will ensure compliance going forward. Area of focus may be one or more of the following: Research compliance Innovation compliance Grant compliance Fraud and abuse laws and regulations Billing and reimbursement compliance Compliance program development ADA/Section 504​

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Master's Degree

Experience: ​

5 years' experience in Compliance, Audit, Healthcare, Business or Area of Focus being recruited.

Other skills/knowledge:

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience in Compliance Investigations.
* Certification in healthcare compliance, privacy, audit or assigned area of focus
