Responsibilities:
State Farm Financial Services has posted for an analyst position, mainly supporting the current Product Intelligence team as an expert in Investment Planning Services (IPS) and Wealth products and competitive landscape. We would like the analyst to also have a broad understanding of Financial Services products (Life, Health, etc.).
The Product Intelligence team is focused on proactively assessing competitiveness for Financial Services products. This role will be responsible for:
* Leading efforts of in-depth analysis of IPS [Retirement and Wealth] product intelligence (rates/fees, benefits, features) and creating work product as appropriate
* Using business storytelling skills to communicate results of product intelligence data analysis through PowerPoint and related communication tools to executive and director stakeholders
* Analyze IPS Product intelligence from a variety of internal and external sources
* Stay current on competitive and customer trends regarding the insurance and financial services industries
* Serves as a liaison and builds/maintains strong relationships between State Farm Financial Services and other areas including Financial Services Product Sales, IPS Strategy, Financial Services Internal and External Wholesalers, etc.
* Willing to learn and support the Product Intelligence team on needed Life/Health product competitiveness and related-work efforts
Qualifications:
Skills/Experience:
* Knowledge of Investment Planning Services (Retirement and Wealth) products, required
* Understanding of competitive landscape of IPS business, preferred
* Willingness to work independently, assume additional responsibilities on short notice, and to be a self-starter
* Articulate in written and oral communication, including developing presentations to effectively "tell a story" to various levels of leadership and executive audiences. Thinks strategically through a customer focused and creative mindset
* Strong ability in PowerPoint, and proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office products
