Responsibilities:
Compensation Strategy & Execution
* Develop, implement, and manage broad-based compensation programs (base salary, bonus, equity, and incentives), including short- and long-term incentive plans and sales and technical compensation plans.
* Partner with business leaders to design and implement scalable compensation strategies during periods of organizational growth and transformation.
* Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour laws and government contracting requirements, including DOL, FLSA, and SCA regulations.
Executive & Board-Level Compensation
* Support executive compensation programs and prepare materials and analyses for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
* Ensure alignment of executive and leadership pay programs with performance, market benchmarks, and organizational goals.
Total Rewards Program Management
* Design and evaluate total rewards programs and recommend enhancements based on employee needs, industry trends, and cost analysis - for optimized employee experience
* Implement and manage recognition programs and non-cash reward initiatives that drive engagement and performance.
Team Leadership
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* Establish and manage key performance metrics for the Total Rewards.
Vendor Management & Systems
* Oversee a broad portfolio of vendor relationships, including compensation survey providers, and third-party administrators.
* Leverage Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and compensation platforms to drive automation, reporting, and compliance.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field. Masters a plus
* 7-10 years of progressive experience in compensation and total rewards, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
* Experience in the government contracting, ideally with a technology, products focused company.
* Experience partnering with proposal pricing and salary benchmarking in response to federal RFPs
* Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and government contracting regulations
* Proven experience designing and managing compensation and incentive programs in high-growth or scaling environments.
* Experience preparing compensation materials for executive leadership and board-level presentation.
* Demonstrated success leading teams, with a focus on innovation, business partnerships and compliance.
* Proficiency in HCM and compensation management tools (e.g., Workday, UKG, MarketPay, Payfactors).
