* Act as a resource to all clients, providers and the community. 
* Attend community meetings and health fairs to understand community issues and build relationships with community members. 
* Distribute flyers, brochures, or other informational or educational documents to inform members of a targeted community. 
* Refer community members to needed health services.
* Provides one to one coaching to those individuals desiring this service.
* Teach classes or otherwise disseminate health information to groups, targeted families or individuals in a manner consistent with cultural norms

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required:

* High School diploma/GED
* Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle highly confidential information essential.
* Ability to work independently, set priorities and manage work within timeframes, read and analyze technical material, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, positive mental attitude.
* Already persuing or completed Community Health Worker (CHW) training through ASU. 
* AZ DL 

Preferred:

* Bachelors Degree
