Responsibilities:

Internal Communications:

* Design and manage internal communication campaigns to enhance employee engagement, culture, and change initiatives.
* Develop internal communications strategy to align with business goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure consistent messaging for internal programs (e.g., wellness, sustainability, company updates. Corporate initiatives).
* Work collaboratively with Commercial/Marketing and Investor Relations to align external communications with internal communications. 
* Organize and facilitate the quarterly virtual town hall.
* Support merger/acquisition communications (integration, communications planning and execution).
* Create content for intranet, newsletters, announcements, and internal events.
* Facilitate and create content for internal training (in-person and virtual). 
* Support corporate reporting (eg. Annual Report, Annual Sustainability Report). 
* Analyze communication campaigns and report on effectiveness using data and analytics.
* Manage the communications budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
* Support event planning and promotional campaigns as needed.

Digital and Content Strategy:

* Lead the planning and publishing of multimedia content across digital channels.
* Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all materials.
* Work with designers, videographers, and content creators to produce high-quality communications assets.

Employee Engagement and Culture

* In collaboration with HR, lead and manage any employee engagement and/or culture building projects and initiatives. 

Change Management

* Design and implement change management strategies, frameworks, and tools to support the adoption of new processes, technologies, systems, or structures.
* Conduct change impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to identify risks, readiness gaps, and communication needs.
* Develop and execute change management plans including communication, training, engagement, and reinforcement strategies.
* Collaborate with leadership and project teams to integrate change management into overall project planning and execution.
* Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
* Support managers and employees through change by acting as a coach, advisor, and liaison between leadership and impacted teams.
* Develop and deliver training materials or coordinate training efforts to ensure employees are equipped for the change.
* Ensure that change efforts align with the company's strategic goals, culture, and values.

Qualifications:

* Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and audiences.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience managing media relations and digital content strategies.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.

Preferred Skills

* Familiarity with communication tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Canva, Hootsuite, Mailchimp).
* Experience with crisis communication or change management communications.
* Understanding of SEO, social media analytics, and content performance metrics.

 EDUCATION: 

* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
* 5+ years of professional experience in a communications or public relations role.
* Familiarity with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
* Experience in public organization would be beneficial.
