				Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Accounting Manager, Commissions to lead the end-to-end accounting and operations for partner commission programs.  You will oversee the calculation, accrual, payment, and reporting of partner commissions, ensure compliance with contractual obligations and accounting standards, maintain systems and reporting associated with partner commissions and drive process improvements and system enhancements to support scalability and accuracy.  You will report to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities:

* You will manage and mentor a team responsible for partner commission calculations and accounting.

* Serve as the subject matter expert on partner commission accounting, providing guidance to cross-functional teams including Sales, Partner Operations, Revenue Operations, Legal, and FP&A.

* Act as the main liaison with external auditors on commission-related matters and support SOX compliance efforts.

* Lead the month-end close process for commission-related accounts, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

* Ensure compliance with US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 for capitalized partner commissions, and internal policies related to commission expense recognition and reporting.

* Lead efforts to optimize commission systems and workflows, including automation, tool enhancements (e.g., Xactly, CaptivateIQ), and data integrity improvements.

* Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor commission trends, identify anomalies, and support executive decision-making.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum of 6 years progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or lead role

Pay Range Details

The base pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado $97,400-$155,800 (annually)

Washington $97,400-$172,000 (annually)

California $97,400-$188,600 (annually)

NYC $107,600-$188,600 (annually)

The pay range above is the general base pay range for you in the state listed. Your actual salary/wage may be based on several factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, market and business considerations. This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and your role.
