The Commercial HR Business Partner is a trusted advisor who works closely with designated business units to provide strategic HR guidance and support strategies that align with regional objectives and business goals. This role combines strategic oversight with operational execution, supporting business leaders and fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.
Strategic Business Partnership
* Collaborate with senior leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that align with those objectives.
* Provide strategic insights on workforce planning, talent retention, and engagement to ensure the organisation's structure supports its growth trajectory.
* Collaborate with the Regional HR Leader to translate regional goals into operational plans for HR Business Partners.
Talent Management and Development
* Lead talent development initiatives within assigned teams, including performance
management, succession planning, and career development.
* Facilitate leadership and employee training sessions, focusing on skill-building and continuous development.
* Guide and support managers through performance review processes, offering expertise on goal setting, feedback, and evaluation.
* Provide recommendations on compensation adjustments and promotions, aligning with company policies and market trends.
Employee Engagement
* Partner with leadership to identify and address engagement challenges within teams, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
* Lead the planning and execution of engagement activities, like recognition programs.
* Collaborate with the leadership to develop and execute engagement and retention strategies tailored to business unit needs.
Organisational Development and Change Management
* Partner with business leaders to support organisational change initiatives, providing guidance on change management best practices.
* Drive initiatives to enhance team effectiveness, operational efficiency, and alignment with company culture and values.
Data Analysis and P&C Reporting
* Leverage HR metrics to analyse trends and assess HR program effectiveness, providing actionable insights to business leaders.
* Prepare and present reports on key HR indicators, including turnover, engagement, and performance metrics.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
* Champion DEI efforts within business units, partnering with leaders to foster an inclusive and equitable work environment.
* Support DEI initiatives by promoting inclusive recruitment, engagement, and development practices.
Country responsibility
* Manage local benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and local regulations.
* Ensure compliance with country-specific labour laws, employment regulations, and reporting requirements.
* Support acquisitions and integrations, including conducting due diligence and managing change processes.
* Handle legal cases, including workforce reductions, in partnership with internal legal teams and external advisors where necessary.
Qualifications:
Skills and Competencies
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.
* Experience as a business partner in a role focused on country-specific HR responsibilities.
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of local labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices in the designated country.
* Commitment to DEI and cultural sensitivity in working with a diverse workforce
