Overview: Responsibilities: Manages the IMC Coding department. Works with IMC Management and IMC Central Billing Office for determination of adequate provider coding and documentation, education to providers on proper coding and documentation, and facilitation of coding and documentation resolutions. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications * Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position * Strong knowledge of procedure and diagnosis coding * Working knowledge of Physician Practice billing * 5 of the most recent 7 years' experience in a CPT coding role Licensure/Registration/Certification * Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Desired Qualifications * Associate or bachelor's degree in health information or coding * Proven supervisory experience in a professional setting * 3 of the most recent 5 years' experience in a coding leadership role
