Responsibilities:

Working alongside experienced engineers, our co-ops and interns have a unique opportunity to apply their academic learning to products that protect lives in communities around the world. The Electrical Engineering  co-op will gain an appreciation and understanding of the New Product Development process, real world application of electrical hardware as it pertains to embedded systems design, as well as be exposed and a variety of engineering tools and techniques.

Co-Op Responsibilities include:

* Learn our electronic design process used in new product development
* Create electrical schematics and Layout Printed Circuit Boards
* Design and setup product validation tests and document test results
* Collaborate with domestic & international associates to complete project goals
* Gain an awareness of budgetary, manufacturing and sourcing limitations

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

*  Completed coursework in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

*  Excellent academics, technical knowledge, and critical thinking skills

*  Strong communication and organizational skills, along with an attention to detail

Education and experience required:

Must be enrolled in an Electrical or Computer Engineering program (preferably at an ABET-accredited school) and have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year.
