Waters Wilmslow are hiring! Cloud Platform Technical Lead.

Responsibilities:
* Strategic technical leadership of multiple cross-functional software development teams, distributed across Europe and Asia
* Recognised as a technical authority for Cloud Platform across the wider Cloud ecosystem, driving and supporting collaboration between teams and initiatives
* Drive teams and projects continuous improvement activities towards strategic level goals
* Introduces and embeds industry-recognised software development best practices and techniques
* Injects urgency and direction across the Platform teams by setting clear quarterly goals aimed at achieving the programs milestones
* Collaborates closely with engineering management to upskill, develop and nurture the engineers within the Platform teams
* Provides mentorship to principal engineers within the Platform teams
* Fosters a continual learning mindset, to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in software development
Qualifications:
What will make you a successful Cloud Platform Technical Lead at Waters:
* Degree (or equivalent) in a science / software engineering related subject
* Extensive experience and understanding of software engineering best practices (e.g. Unit testing, TDD, CI/CD, SOLID, BDD etc.).
* Proven ability to lead multiple teams
* Proven strategic level thinking
* Excellent communication and team working skills.
* Extensive hands-on experience of software development using Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Containers, Terraform)
* Extensive experience of using .NET to develop complex Web applications
