The CIN (Clinically Integrated Network) Finance Analyst serves as the primary resource for the business needs of the Hackensack Meridian Health Partners (HMHP) operations team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and strategic growth of our clinically integrated health network. By providing data-driven insights, financial forecasting, and cost analysis, this position ensures optimal resource allocation, enhances operational efficiencies, and drives informed decision-making. Collaborates with leadership to develop financial strategies that improve care quality, maximize reimbursements, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Through rigorous financial modeling and performance analysis, this role directly contributes to the network's mission of delivering high-value, patient-centered care while achieving long-term financial sustainability.

Responsibilities:

A day in the life of a CIN (Clinically Integrated Network) Finance Analyst at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

* Applies Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to carry out core responsibilities of Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) accounting functions. 
* Performs ongoing financial analysis, report building, ledger build and maintenance, and makes recommendations, as directed, to support network operational efficiency and strategic objectives. 
* Supports the receipt and distribution of payments from contracted insurance payors to participants in the CIN. 
* Records, coordinates, analyzes, and processes incoming and outgoing value-based payments for HMHP and its participants. 
* Completes financial file data review and validation, accounts receivable journal entries, accounts payable reports, and annual financial statements. 
* Collaborates with the CIN Operations team to support participating network practices and program engagement through analysis of participants' financial history. 
* Establishes and maintains regular financial trend analysis for HMHP executive leadership. 
* Other duties and/or projects as assigned. 
* Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

* Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or other relevant area of study. 
* Minimum of 1 or more years of experience in a healthcare industry setting. 
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

 Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 

* Experience working with or for a health insurance provider. 

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

* Certified Public Accountant.
