Clinical Therapist (Exempt)

				Overview:

Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and implements comprehensive therapy to assigned patients in order to provide patient care which meets Infirmary Health's (IH) standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree in the mental health field

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

Working knowledge of de-escalation and crisis management

Working knowledge of EHR systems

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

One of the following:

* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the Alabama Board of Examiners in Counseling (ABEC)
* Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the Alabama Board of Examiners in Marriage and Family Therapy (ABEMFT)
* Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners (ABSWE) *
* Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners (ABSWE)

*Clinical supervision by a LICSW-S to meet requirements for LICSW available
