Overview:
The Clinical Support Trainer is responsible for providing end-user training and technical support for software applications, ensuring users are equipped to utilize these tools effectively. This role involves acting as a conduit for collecting end-user feedback on applications and advocating for their needs and requirements within the region. By facilitating communication between users and developers, the Clinical Support Trainer helps to ensure that software solutions meet user expectations and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
* Provide end-user training and technical support for software applications, including creating training materials and user manuals, and training new employees during onboarding.
* Document support calls, maintain a knowledge base of common problem resolutions, and respond to client issues within timeframes based on the severity of the problem.
* Develop and maintain implementation materials and processes for software applications, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
* Write and maintain functional and technical specifications and operating documentation, while researching operational processes to identify solutions for problem resolution and efficiency improvement.
* Maintain the confidentiality of inmate information in accordance with CCS policy, facility policy, and professional association standards, and post orders per site contract, if applicable.
Qualifications:
Education
* Clinical/Nursing Background.
Experience
* 3+ years in a Clinical support roll or 2+ years in a Correctional Healthcare Roll. Current knowledge of PC's, Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak and train comfortably, with technical and non-technical users.
Licenses/Certifications
* Must obtain and maintain security clearance.
