Overview:
As a Project Planning and Coordinator you will be joining the world's largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.
Responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
* Support primarily the R&D Project Planning (R&DPP) team in all aspects of project and program planning, resourcing, tracking, and cross-functional coordination (integrated planning, driver maintenance, resources, financials, project risk/health).
* Work directly with Project Management Teams (PMT), project teams, functions, and stakeholders to make sure assigned project plains are maintained and tracked according to the development strategy (owning the end-to-end project plan and tracking against it, communication within the group & department/GD stakeholder, providing required project reporting & documentation)
* Manage stakeholders' communication and working with business partners, functions, Capacity Management, Capability Management and Finance following the standard R&D Project Planning processes and associated infrastructure (maintaining data accuracy and integrity within the enterprise project and resource management system)
* Deliver regular communications, updates, and insights to the Project Management Team, functions, and R&DPP leadership team regarding the status of projects, highlighting planning & resourcing issues/risks, and proposing potential solutions that will assist in removing same.
* Coordinate the integrated project planning for diverse project teams to enable the assigned program delivery for our stakeholders that is balanced for quality, timeliness & resources
* May be responsible for plan maintenance of one or more than one project of low to moderate complexity or one project of high complexity.
* Proven matrix team experience with strong influencing and negotiating skills in Pharmaceutical or health care industry is required
* Technical expertise, preferably in pharmaceutical project planning & resourcing, with experience gained through working with diverse and complex business processes and associated systems is required
Qualifications:
You are:
* A minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience in a global environment (other healthcare, medical device, and/or consumer products experience may be considered if in project planning/resourcing)
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant project planning/resourcing experience required (within a drug development environment preferred)
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Experience working in highly diverse teams within project management and/or clinical research; cross-functional, global, multi-regional.
* Excellent Project management skills (project planning/tracking, resource management, and cross-functional coordination)
* Advanced Microsoft Office and Project Planning tool (e.g. Planisware or MS Project) skills including the ability to build project plans utilizing appropriate work breakdown structures and dependencies, perform critical path analyses, manipulate and analyze data, and derive insights.
* Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication.
* Ability to work in dynamic global environment organizing and leading team collaborative work output and present information to the core team as well as executive stakeholders
