Clinical Pharmacist 

Schedule: 8am-5pm- Monday- Friday

Novant Health is seeking a full-time Clinical Pharmacist.  In this clinical role, you'll work side by side with oncology providers and nurses to deliver exceptional patient care, verify chemotherapy orders (including hazardous sterile admixture) and review treatment plans.

*Oncology experience is needed, PGY2 and hospital experience highly preferred *

Responsibilities:

Essential functions include:

* Clinical review, entry and modification of oncology treatment plans.
* Oncology order verification, hazardous and non-hazardous sterile admixture check.
* Partnership with clinic providers and nursing to provide remarkable patient care.
* Proficiency with equipment and software.
* Resident (PGY1/PGY2) and student precepting.
* Participation in committees such as P&T, tumor boards and shared governance.
* Order set review and development.
* Medication therapy management and patient counseling including but not limited to oncology/hematology medications and symptom management.

Qualifications:

* Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification, required. PhD, preferred. Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred.
* Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, required.
* Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, required.

* Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
