Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy

Hybrid position- Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm, No Weekends

Novant Health is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist. * Onboarding will require in person relationship building with clinics
* Additional onsite presence may be required to maintain relationships and build referral volume

Responsibilities:

Your Role Includes:
Providing expert medication therapy management
Collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams
Ensuring safe, effective, and personalized patient care
Leading clinical initiatives and educating patients and staff

Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge and critical thinking
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passion for improving patient outcomes and safety

Qualifications:

* Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, required. Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred.
* Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, required.
* Licensure/Certification/Registration: 
* Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.
* Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role; excludes PRN team members who may not be eligible to take certification exam, required.

* Additional Skills Required: Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
