Overview: UnityPoint Clinics Clinical Nurse Urgent Care - Sunnybrook Sioux City, IA *PRN - As Needed* Evenings, weekends and holidays Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 9AM-8PM and Sat/Sun 8AM-6PM Responsibilities: Join our urgent care team in Sioux City, providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients with non-life-threatening conditions. As an RN, you'll play a critical role in patient triage, assessment, treatment, and care coordination, ensuring our community receives efficient and effective care. * Triage and assess patients promptly * Administer medications and start IVs * Rooming, vitals and review of appointment * Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and rapid tests * Assist with procedures (wound care, splinting, I&D, etc.) * Monitor and report changes in patient condition * Educate patients on discharge instructions and medications * Document care accurately in the EMR * Support and oversee support staff as needed * Manage clinical phone triage when applicable * Maintain a clean, stocked, and compliant clinic environment Qualifications: * RN License to Practice, State of Iowa. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. * Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment and prioritize tasks. * Basic Life Support (BLS) / Mandatory Reporter.
