Responsibilities:

Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Community Hospital of San Bernardino

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Community Hospital of San Bernardino, you will provide essential diagnostic testing and laboratory analysis that directly support patient care. In this critical role, you will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clinical teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform and report waived, moderately complex, and highly complex laboratory tests in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
* Interpret and correlate clinical test results, promptly alerting medical staff of critical values and supporting rapid diagnosis.
* Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
* Conduct quality control, calibration, and documentation procedures to maintain high standards of laboratory operations.
* Contribute to a culture of safety, precision, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications:

* One (1) year experience working in one or more areas of a Clinical or Public Health Laboratory preferred. Acute Care Hospital experience is desirable.
* Current valid California License as a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) Special Laboratory Scientist OR Public Health Microbiologist (PHM).
