CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

We're looking for a visionary who can bridge the gap between complex clinical needs and powerful technology solutions. In this pivotal role, you won't just manage systems; you'll transform workflows, empower clinicians, and elevate the standard of patient care.

What You'll Do (and Why It Matters):

* Be a Workflow Architect: Evaluate, plan, develop, and implement cutting-edge Epic functionality. You'll assess needs, define scope, and craft solutions that make a tangible difference.
* Lead Transformative Projects: From kick-off to completion, you'll own projects that drive efficiency and enhance user experience. You'll be the conductor orchestrating successful integrations and optimizations.
* Empower Our Teams: Develop and deliver engaging training (in-person and virtual) for new hires and existing staff, ensuring everyone can leverage our tools to their fullest potential.
* Innovate & Optimize: Proactively identify opportunities to improve clinical and operational workflows. Your recommendations will directly impact how we deliver care.
* Collaborate for Success: Work hand-in-hand with diverse teams - Operations, IT, Epic AMS - fostering a multidisciplinary approach that brings the best ideas to life.
* Problem Solve with Precision: Dive deep into issues, collaborating with Epic experts to resolve challenges and ensure seamless operations.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead an annual project focused on delivering enhanced functionality and significant ROI for our organization.

Qualifications:

The Essentials (Must-Haves):

* Education: A four-year clinical degree or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a dynamic healthcare setting.
* Epic Fluency: Ability to achieve Epic Proficiency or Credentialing in your primary module within your first year.
* Adaptability: Thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
* Communication Pro: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Project Powerhouse: Proven experience planning, facilitating, and implementing large, diverse projects.

Bonus Points (Preferred, but not required):

* Epic Maestro: Already proficient or credentialed in one or more Epic modules.
* EMR Savvy: Hands-on experience working with Electronic Medical Records.
* Informatics Acumen: Specialized informatics training under your belt.
* Relevant Degree/Certification: A degree or certification in Computer Science, MIS, Nursing, Informatics, HIT, Health Administration, or a related field.
* PMP Certified: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
