Psychiatry & Behavioral Health at Greenwich Hospital is seeking to employ a full-time clinical psychologist with specialties in evaluation and treatment of mood, anxiety and eating-related disorders. 
Psychiatry & Behavioral Health includes ambulatory programming comprising routine outpatient services for the management of a spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including, but not limited to, depressive, anxiety, trauma-related, and substance use disorders. The clinical psychologist will provide evidence-based and solution-focused treatments related to mood and anxiety disorders, as well as perform pre-bariatric surgery evaluations.

Responsibilities:

* 1. Conducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients
* 2. Provision of individual and group behavioral interventions
* 3. Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care
* 4. Collection of outcome data related to clinical care
* 5. Engagement in community outreach
* 6. Participation in departmental meetings and activities
* 7. Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities
* 8. Maintaining charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology psychology from an APA-approved graduate program.

EXPERIENCE

Individuals trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT); who embrace a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating psychiatric illness; have experience in obesity medicine; and are committed to program development are encouraged to apply.

LICENSURE

All candidates must be license-eligible in the State of Connecticut.
