Overview: Clinical Dietitian - Oncology Part Time; FTE 0.6 (24 hours/week) Moline, IL Plans and provides patient nutritional care; performs nutritional assessments, calculates nutrient needs, and educates/counsels patients/families; and participates in the development or revision of departmental policies and procedures and in planning and conducting in-service education programs. Functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans based on the patient's diagnosis and individual needs. Responsibilities: Key Accountability Functions in direct contact with patients, health care staff, and physicians, and the general public, maintaining good relations with all. Key Accountability Uses various computer systems, including EMR, Online Nutrition Care Manual, MS Office, etc. High level user of healthcare information systems. Key Accountability Works independently and with initiative to seek information to coordinate activities and follow through on tasks. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nutrition/Dietetics Dietetic Internship or CDR approved equivalent License(s)/Certification(s): CDR Registration as Dietitian Iowa & Illinois Licensure as Dietitian Experience: Experience with computers Experience with patient nutrition care Experience with customer service *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
