* Schedule: Full Time, Days 8:00 am-5:00 pm

While CNA I and CNA II professionals can work under the license of a physician or advanced practice provider (APP), per North Carolina Board of Nursing requirements, they must:
* Complete a minimum of 8 hours every 24 months of direct supervision by a registered nurse (RN) employed at the clinic
* Or make arrangements to complete this requirement at a sister Novant Health Medical Group (NHMG) clinic location
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and room patients for surgical consultations and follow-ups
* Support minor in-office procedures and post-op care
* Document accurately in the electronic health recordServe as a vital link between patients and providers
* Keep clinic flow efficient while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere
* Assist in the coordination and delivery of patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
* Supporting rooming, vital signes and patient preparation
* Maintaining a safe and clean care environment
Qualifications:
* Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
* Experience:
* Two years Acute experience for CNA 1, preferred.
* One year CNA2 or EMT, preferred.
* One year Experience in healthcare setting or Physician Assistant or medical school student enrolled in an accredited program or gap year, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification:
* NA I in good standing within the NA registry; OR required.
* NA II in good standing with NA II certification with required state; OR required
* EMT current credential in appropriate state; OR required
* One year clinical (medical) office experience; OR required.
* Physician Assistant or Medical School student enrolled in accredited program or in gap year required.
* Additional Skills (required):
* Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.
* Basic computer skills for documentation
