Overview: UnityPoint Clinics Clinical CMA/LPN/RN Family Medicine - Lakeview West Des Moines, IA Multiple Shifts Availble: * Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri 8:00AM-5:30PM + Thurs 8AM-12:30PM - 40 hours/week * Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM - 40 hours/week * Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM - THURSDAYS OFF - 32 hours/week * Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 7:45AM-4:45PM + Wednesday 7:45AM-3PM Full-time + benefits for 32 + hours/week $5,000 sign-on bonus for external hires *MUST have your CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) accredited certification and program OR Iowa LPN or RN Responsibilities: We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Family Medicine team in Iowa. This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN). The Clinical Nurse will provide support in patient care across all ages, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education in a primary care setting. * Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures * Room payients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR) * Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure * Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care * Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups * Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Qualifications: * Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following: * Registered Nurse (RN) - Iowa Board of Nursing * Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Iowa Board of Nursing * Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT or NHA) * BLS (Basic Life Support) certification * Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred * Strong communication and critical thinking skills * Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, etc.) and basic computer skills * Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team #UPC123
