				Overview:

Waters is seeking a dynamic contributor to fill the role of Account Manager in our Clinical/Forensic Business Unit. This person will have an exciting opportunity to drive the sales of our full range of products and services, which include Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography System, Mass Spectrometers, software, consumables and services for the CBU.

The desired candidate should be highly motivated to develop and implement a franchise business plan, while working in unison with their assigned specialists, marketing and service colleagues in order to deliver a strong sales funnel and associated close ratio. The foundation of the account manager's role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers' needs to design solutions with a lasting and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager for Waters Clinical Business Unit you will be responsible for your business franchise.  You will join a team of true professionals where patient and community health are the drive behind what we do.

* Meet or exceed sales targets
* Maintain installed-base customer satisfaction
* Aggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts
* Visit customers to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their way
* Build technical competency on Waters products and services and be perceived by customers as a trusted resource.
* Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information
* Provide information to marketing team to create business development programs
* Fully utilization of our sales CRM application.
* Submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts
* Develop business through a dynamic plan of action

Qualifications:

Education:

* Bachelor's degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry

Experience:

* 3+ years laboratory sales experience.
* UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing is a plus
* Overnight travel is required and international travel as needed

* Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener
* Mature disposition, positive attitude, and strong sense of commitment
* Adaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environment
* Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially Clinical and Forensic LC/MS applications
