Overview:
CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, has been proudly serving our community since 1920. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care, specialty care, family medicine, 3D mammography, orthopedics, neurology, and several other health services to our Williston community.
Responsibilities:
As our Clinic CNA at CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you'll assists in the delivery of patient care and performance of established tasks and procedures under the supervision of a physically present and immediately available Registered Nurse/ Hospital Provider. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.

* Perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy
* Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs
* Assists with patient transports and transfers
* Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider's orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation
* Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
* Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies

Qualifications:
Education and Experience
* High School Diploma, preferred.
Licensure and Certifications
* Certified Nurse Assistant; North Dakota, required.
* ND State Nursing Assistant Registry - https://services.ndhhs.gov/nurseaide
* American Hearth Association Basic Life Support (BLS)-CPR.
* Within 30 days of start.

* Strong critical thinking skills
* Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
