What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per post orders.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production and office areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
* Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or badging where assigned, and directing visitors, vendors, and employees according to site procedures.
* Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and escalate concerns through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
* Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
