Responsibilities: * Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity. * Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and manpower required on projects. * Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects. * Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects. * Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, schedule of events and an estimation of manpower requirements as necessary. * Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development. * Hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work. * Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors' approval. * Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates (i.e. Project team meetings). * Review monthly man-hour and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the predetermined profit goal. * Ensure everyone involved is working in accordance with all project planning and profit control procedures. * Ensure that all budgets affecting the project schedule and/or fee budget are discussed with the client. Ensure that all out-of-scope work and associated feeds are approved by the client prior to performing the services. * Solicit help and involvement from Department Managers and any other managers to troubleshoot any technical problems. * Works efficiently with the Billing Department to authorize and transmit bills to client. Follows up with clients for timely payments. * Mentor Project Managers and junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives. * Adhere to Health and Safety program and all applicable SOPs. * Review time sheets of direct reports during a specified reporting period. * Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy. * May oversee the activities of assigned staff, including but not limited to timesheet review and approval, performance evaluation and daily supervision. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a related field. * 8+ years of experience in related field. * Professional licensure in area of expertise. * Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations. * Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analyses, grading and other site development related designs. * Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD. * Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies. * Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. * Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities. * Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment. * Construction oversight experience a plus. * Dedicated, responsive, and organized. * Possess a valid driver's license. * Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Compensation: $132,800 to $187,600 (depending on qualifications)
