As a Civil/Site Engineering Designer II, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of communities through innovative land development projects. From site feasibility studies and conceptual planning to detailed grading, drainage design, stormwater management, and regulatory compliance, you'll be at the forefront of creating functional, sustainable, and inspiring spaces. You'll use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other cutting-edge tools while collaborating with a talented team to deliver projects on time, on budget, and above expectations.

Responsibilities:

* Perform design tasks, such as conceptual planning, detailed grading, and drainage designs associated with civil engineering construction projects.
* Prepare stormwater management calculations including developing basin routings, channel design, and inlet capacity calculations.
* Generate pipe profiles and review stormwater designs based on project constraints.
* Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions to peers and management.
* Produce construction drawings, plans, and cost estimates.
* Prepare PADEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permits, including: NPDES permits, General Permits, and other technical aspects of the regulatory permitting process.
* Develop Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plan sets and reports.
* Conform to the company's standard AutoCAD procedures for layering, details, etc.
* Provide technical support to more senior staff.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification, preferred.
* 2-4 years of civil engineering experience.
* Demonstrated AutoCAD Civil 3D skills with the ability to design from concept plans through construction plans.
* Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Experience in land development.
* Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations.
* Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development related designs, preferred.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
