				Overview:

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a client focused problem-solver to join our collaborative and innovative water resources team. This civil engineer will assist with the design of flood risk reduction, water conveyance, and dam rehabilitation projects.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting with project scoping, design charette exercises and problem-solving sessions
* Overseeing the assembly of design documents for construction, including constructability reviews
* Providing QA/QC
* Attending day and night client meetings as necessary
* Conducting necessary travel

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

* A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil or geological engineering from an accredited college or university
* At least four (4) years of relevant work experience
* PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in CA within 12 months of start date

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

* At least four (4) years of experience with technical design and development of project plans and specifications
* At least two (2) years of experience designing projects in Civil 3D
* Knowledge of and experience with flood risk reduction design (levees, flood walls, or dams) in California
* Mentoring experience
* Water resources and/or hydropower project experience
* USACE, SAFCA, PG&E, and other water agency/district and utility client experience

Salary Range: $100,000 to $119,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
