Responsibilities:
- Enter data using a map-based interface while working outdoors (We provide the tools!).
- Arrive on time when required, take direction from your team leader, and support your teammates as needed.
- Bring enthusiasm for learning about your city and contributing to making local government work for everyone.
- Conduct independent research when you encounter challenges finding information, using the internet to gather necessary details.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable being outdoors for most of the day, following maps, and navigating all of Boston's neighborhoods.
- Eager to learn how to use databases (like Google Sheets), perform data entry, and utilize mapping tools.
- Independent with the ability to be reliable, show up on time, and take direction from a team leader.
- Enjoy talking to strangers and gathering information from them when needed.
