Overview: At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Music Therapists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. What You Can Expect: * Provides support for Pediatric services * Provides music therapy services including, but not limited to passive listening, participatory programs and the creation of music * Develops music therapy intervention plans using individualized needs assessment depending on focus of music therapy * Leads individual or group music sessions * Documents assessments, plans, and outcomes * Provides music therapy services, assesses patient response, and modifies plans in response to patient progress * Consults and collaborates with multi-disciplinary team members in planning music therapy activities in accordance with patients' physical or psychological needs, capabilities, and interests. * Part Time with Full Benefits Qualifications: * Education: Bachelors Degree * Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified Music Therapist (CBMT) For more information, please contact Janet at littleyj@slhs.org Responsibilities: The Music Therapist plans, organizes, and implements music therapy interventions to influence behavioral and psychological responses to medical treatment. * Provides music therapy services including, but not limited to passive listening, participatory programs and the creation of music. * Develops music therapy intervention plans using individualized needs assessment depending on focus of music therapy. * Leads individual or group music sessions. * Documents assessments, plans, and outcomes. * Provides music therapy services, assesses patient response, and modifies plans in response to patient progress. * Consults and collaborates with multi-disciplinary team members in planning music therapy activities in accordance with patients' physical or psychological needs, capabilities, and interests. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
