				Overview:

Located in the Phoenix suburb of Chandler, Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center has been a cornerstone of the community since 1961. What began as a modest 40-bed hospital with just 25 employees and 91 volunteers has evolved into a full-service, acute-care facility and regional healthcare leader.

Today, Chandler Regional is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 employees and over 1,100 physicians representing all major specialties. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of services, including a Level I Trauma Center, Heart and Vascular Center, Wound Healing Center, and a Family Birth Center, among many others.

Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, becoming part of one of the nation's largest healthcare networks, which spans across Arizona, California, and Nevada. It is also a sister hospital to Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Arizona General Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, and St. Joseph's Westgate Medical Center.

In keeping with Dignity Health's mission to care for the underserved and improve community health, Chandler Regional contributed more than $48 million in community benefit during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016. Through its community outreach and health programs, the hospital reached nearly 100,000 individuals in the East Valley.
