Chief Nursing Officer- Cape Regional

				Responsibilities:

In partnership with the Chief Nurse Executive, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) assumes a critical role in shaping the future of nursing practice within the organization. The CNO will provide leadership over nursing and patient care services operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care as well as a healthy work environment for team members. 

The CNO will promote evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement across the continuum of patient care.  The CNO will demonstrate strong financial acumen to manage budgets effectively and optimize resource allocation.

The CNO will foster a culture of professional growth and development, and will support mentorship, coaching, and educational opportunities to enhance leadership skills and clinical competencies. 

The CNO will foster a culture of accountability and compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and license regulations. In addition, the CNO will remain current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies The CNO will assist executive management in resolving operational issues and developing strategic plans for improved patient care/outcomes. The CNO will lead with confidence and promote interdisciplinary collaboration, also demonstrating exceptional communication 

The CNO will promote an environment of care which recognizes and values differences in staff, interdisciplinary team members, patients and communities.
