Responsibilities:
Responsible for work assignments and supervising engineers. Establishes reporting procedures, check work performed to ensure that workmanship meets acceptable functions and safety requirements. Provide input to medical center budget from equipment analysis. Given general guidance and directions by the Director Facility Management and Plant Operation.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
* Three (3) years of experience in supervision and maintenance in installation, construction and maintenance of equipment, utilities and buildings in hospitals.
* Ability to communicate with workers and other members of Medical Center Staff, both oral and written.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications for installation and maintenance of equipment.
* Ability to make proper estimates for repairs, construction and maintenance projects.
* Ability to develop monitoring systems which regulate the tasks and activities of subordinate positions.
* High School graduate and general Engineering background.
