Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the preparation of tax, statistical, and financial reporting in accordance with Kazakhstan legislation and IFRS standards.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of tax, statistical and financial reporting in accordance with the legislation of Kazakhstan, IFRS reporting on a monthly basis;
- Management and control of the accounting staff - 1 person; coordination and evaluation of their work efficiency;
- Providing compliance with tax legislation, identification and reduction of possible tax risks; avoidance of tax penalties;
- Interaction with regulatory institutions, support of tax audits;
- Support of internal and external audits of accounting and financial statements;
- Development and organisation of internal control and effective accounting system and accounting policy of the organisation;
- Improving the company's processes by introducing and applying best practices;
- Control over compliance with the order of registration of primary accounting documents, their storage, reflection of data in the accounting programme; verification of payment documents;
- Ensuring monthly closing in 1C, Navision; reconciliation of the two accounting systems on a monthly basis;
- Coordinating intra-holding operations with head office.
Qualifications:
Higher profile education (economic, accounting, finance) ;
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting (2 of them as Chief Accountant);
- Knowledge of IFRS standards (as an advantage)
- Ability to work with a large amount of information and within tight deadlines;
- Personnel management skills;
- Excellent knowledge of tax and accounting, compliance with tax legislation;
- Knowledge of accounting software: 1C, Navision (as an advantage);
- English - Pre-Intermediate. #LI-IW1
