				Overview:

Waters-ERA is currently leading a search for a Chemistry Technician II who is primarily responsible for product manufacturing, product verification, process improvements, technical support, and regulatory compliance for the ASR & ERA Product Lines.  The Chemistry Technician II will work closely with the manufacturing team, Operations, Quality, and EH&S to ensure the highest level of product quality and value are provided to Waters-ERA customers. The Chemistry Technician II will work directly with the team supervisor supporting daily requests and production due dates.

This hands-on position requires excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving, critical thinking as well as a compelling initiative to see the organization succeed.

Responsibilities:

* Production/Manufacturing of chemical solutions to specifications
* Generation and review of production and customer facing documentation.
* Assist other departments as needed including packaging/labeling and shipping.
* Proficient in bench top analytical 
* Participating in process improvements and executing validations.
* Assisting with customer-facing technical questions.
* Assisting with updating SOPs, documenting non-conforming product (NCRs), completing OJTs/training.
* Conducting training for team members on manufacturing and/or analytical verification processes.
* Ensure that all products and data meet Quality Assurance requirements.
* Support a physically and mentally safe environment for all employees and coworkers.
* List of instrumentation (including but not limited to):
* ISE-Probes, titrations, Hg analyzer, IC.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
* Years Experience (upon hire): 2-5 years environmental laboratory related work experience, analytical testing, or similar experience preferred.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
* Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) required; Experience with SAP and/or Great Plains preferred but not required.
* Contribute towards driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and implement corrective actions.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001, 17025, 17034, 17043, TNI standard, EPA and Standard Methods is a plus.

The general base pays for this position ranges from $43,000/year to $57,000/year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
