Overview: Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Charge Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. As the Charge Nurse in the CVL, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cardiovascular services. The Charge nurse will work with the Department Manager as a part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes which includes assisting with catheterizations and monitor/examine patients prior to procedures, as well as during and after, administer medications and assist the medical team in whatever they may need during the procedure. Qualifications: * Associate Degree in Nursing * State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License * BLS REQUIRED at time of hire * Minimum One year of nursing experience required * Specialty Certifications in area of practice preferred
