Responsibilities: Expectations: * Registration of new patients in the practice management system for outreach or other services not on EMR, billing and coding, including scanning necessary paperwork, some manual data entry of charges. * Process encounters held in the work queue or task lists, organize paper charge tickets for coding staff, and perform charge reconciliation. * Review and process charges in the work queue per assigned edits. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications: * One to two years billing experience in a health care environment * Knowledge of health insurance plans
