Overview:
As a Senior Channel Account Manager, you will take ownership of channel partners within Switzerland. You will identify partners with potential for growth, develop strong relationships with them, and create business opportunities. This is a 'hunter' role that requires an understanding of areas for growth, the players in those markets, and how to onboard them in our channel partner program.
This role requires travel across Switzerland and proficient knowledge of the German language.
Responsibilities:
* Detect untapped markets and establish strategies for increasing revenue from current accounts.
* Build and implement a business development and revenue plan with your assigned partners.
* Generate leads, nurture and expand existing relationships, and identify opportunities for potential future growth.
* Have a deep understanding of Zebra's software and hardware products and services, along with competitor offerings, and be able to educate partners/customers in a persuasive yet engaging manner.
* Manage partner C-Level relationships, including financial (revenue) and legal (contractual) interactions.
* Identify training and development requirements.
* Manage your own quota of key accounts and ensure they are retained and developed.
* Work towards a set of KPIs.
* Assist in product placement and promotional activities to increase sales together with our distributors.
* Perform business reviews and recommend improvements.
* Manage sales activities and maintain sales records and reports.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's in business management or equivalent work experience.
* 5-8 years of experience in a Channel account management role.
* Proficient level of German and English languages (French or Italian is a plus)
* Experienced in Solution Selling concepts to customer situations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* 'Hunter' mentality.
* Knowledge of the Channel partner concept
* Experience managing Partner Program is a plus
* Ability to travel across Switzerland.
