				Overview:

The Channel Manager is responsible for setting up a clear plan to engage and support Partners to develop their business around Avalara solutions and create Sales opportunities 

Partners might be in different stages of their company growth, and we expect that the Channel Manager assist in all phases with Knowledge, processes, coaching, etc on all Avalara Business Practices.

Responsibilities:

Assist partner with Business Growth Plans.

Perform forecast with partner on a weekly basis.

Support partners to generate leads, via co-marketing actions.

Master Pipeline Management.

Monitors partners capabilities to sell effectively (right people: sales, presales, documentation, presentation, pricing/quotations, right pitch, demo environment).

Prepare sales proposals to channel partners once the deal is confirmed (won deal)

Remains updates with Avalara competitors.

Qualifications:

Expertise in Brazil Tax environment and other tax solutions available in the market.

Sales acumen.

Degree in business or sales management. The course should focus on marketing, advertising and business.

Minimum of five years experience in overseeing channel partnerships

Excellent presentation skills.

Ability to communicate well and document reports, track planned versus results achieved, and create action plans. 

Good interpersonal relationship towards co-worker:

The best channel professionals have a unique way of dealing with their relationships with channel partners:

* They have a great ability to negotiate and manage roles with their channel partners.
* They can earn/elicit trust from channel partners.
* They educate their channel partners.
* They earn the respect of their channel partners.
* When there is a problem, channel partners know that the best channel professionals do not go into denial. The best play it straight, get through the issues that do not matter and fix the problem.
* Promote teamwork and camaraderie amongst staff.

Qualifications:

The best channel professionals are action- and results-oriented. They have a fundamental belief that action drives results. This action comes from focus on time management, objectives, analysis, and results. The best knows where to spend their time, what they need to do, what action needs to be taken and what results are required.
