Responsibilities:

* Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure-retaining equipment as directed by the client, in accordance with API and ASME standards.
* Provide technical guidance on the application of non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques and procedures.
* Ensure full compliance with Acuren and client safety protocols, actively participating in all site safety initiatives.
* Observe work in progress to verify conformance with project requirements and industry standards.
* Inspect process piping, power piping, and structures from material verification through to final commissioning and installation.
* Utilize applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, making recommendations for acceptance or rejection.
* Review and interpret work scope packages, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
* Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to support inspection activities.

Qualifications:

* ABSA|ISI (In Serv Insp)
* API 510/570
* Experience in pressure vessel and/or piping repairs
* Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, VIII.Div.1, IX,II, CSA W47.1 and W59.3 codes is an asset
* Knowledge of NDT methods (x-ray/radiographic, mag-particle, liquid penetrant, etc.,) is an asset
* Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
* IRATA training or willingness to obtain required
