Overview: Position: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist Location: Poplar Bluff, MO Schedule: Full-timMonday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000/year, commensurate with experience Incentives: $10,000 and student debt benefit program Our Prosthetics and Orthotics center in Poplar Bluff is now hiring a compassionate and driven ABC Certified full-time Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO). The ideal candidate will oversee all stages of design, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance of prosthetic devices related to patients' needs, as indicated by a physician. American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Prosthetics/Orthotics or the completion of a Residency Program in Prosthetics/Orthotics (Board Eligible), is required to be considered for this opportunity. Our work environment offers a great opportunity to provide exceptional care for our patients and to grow within our Prosthetics and Orthotics division. ***Employer will not sponsor work visas for this position now or in the future and is not interested in corp.-to-corp. business arrangements at this time.*** Benefits and Incentives: * Multiple health plans: PPO and HSA options through BC/BS * Dental/vision/prescription/disability/supplemental life insurance and more * Company matching 401(k) * Generous paid time off (PTO) and extended illness days (EID) * Indefinite student debt benefit program * Industrywide unmatched continuing education program * Competitive compensation with annual performance reviews Responsibilities: * Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patients' needs, as indicated by a physician. * Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patient's need for orthotic/prosthetic services. * Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. * Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. * Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. * Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. * Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. * Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. * Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. * Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. * Provides on-call services, as necessary. * Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university from a recognized Orthotics and Prosthetics school. * American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics Prosthetics required. * Minimum of one (1) year experience in providing orthotic services under the supervision of a certified practitioner.
